READ THIS: Buckley’s Story

A while back I profiled Ingrid King, a local feline master teacher who did Reiki on my dear Atticus. I was so excited to see King’s new book because it’s something that as one reviewer described should be ‘A “must” for everyone who has ever loved a pet’. The story of her beautiful cat Buckley leads us through how our pets teach us to open our hearts to the world.  It reveals lessons learned through the life and eventual death of a beloved friend.

I’ve read this book, Angie; and it’s a wonderful read! I’d recommend it to everyone, even if they do not have a pet. The book is ingeniously written on many levels and its readers will find that its teachings are essential to our lives and all that encompass them. Ms. King is a proficient writer and her words easily flow as the story takes the reader from the circumstances that brought Buckley into the author’s life thru the many deep and heart touching (as well as heart opening) lessons learned throughout her journey with this gimpy tortie. But the story doesn’t end there! It continues on today with the timelessness of this soul connection remaining. It would be sad for any of your readers and fans, Angie, to miss out on the universal perspective of life that this book contains. I loved it and have given it as a gift to many friends (and they have all loved it too).
