Womens charity group the Audrey Bouviers hosted a happy hour at Sette Bello that benefited 2 charities.
First, there was Soles4Souls and Kady Hillman’s mission to raise money for her trip to a Honduras orphanage to pass out shoes. Then there was the shoe drive for Shepherd’s Table… all shoes collected are given out to the area’s homeless.
Thank you everyone who came out it was a great success! See pictures from the event and watch my WUSA9 reportbelow!

So far I’ve been impressed with GapMaternity. The material is very comfortable. As I enter my 20th week I’ve started to not be so belly shy. The top is paired with a Motherhoodmaternity skirt that has the built in belly band!
Sol Tucker sent me these pics… one of the LAST PIZZA made at the original Ledo Pizzain Adelphi.
The owners are taking the pizzaria legend (55 years) to a new location in College Park. Sol took a shot of the shop in it’s last operating hour … where he said the nostalgia was cut short when the power went out during the storms.Watch: Angie shares the shots on TV
Dr. Howard L. Brooks invited a few of Washington’s fashionistas for a night of looking their best at the ‘A Vanity Affair’ event at his Georgetown Skin office. While sipping on champagne and enjoying the huge table of hors d’ouevres, partygoers enjoyed free makeovers done by Le Metier de Beaute and sampled and layered the different fragrances from London-based Jo Malone at their “scent bar” courtesy of Neiman Marcus, all while learning more about the latest in skin and beauty treatments. The first 100 attendees went home with a gift bag filled with products featured at the event, as well as a coupon for a free month’s supply of Latisse. WUSA9 video and Pictures below.
My friend Souny West invited me to check out her new hip & happening salon nestled in the town of Burke, VA. It’s called W Salon and they do everything from cuts, style, waxing, manis .. you name it! While I was there her rockin’ sister Sue convinced me to try some highlights around my face.
I’ve never done that (with exception to my middle school Sun-In days) and I was scared. She promised she would make them very faint, almost unnoticeable until the sun hit them. I went for it and just love the sun-kissed outcome! (To all who may be concerned… dying your hair is not harmful during pregnancy- that’s a myth!)
