Happy Anniversary Kirk & Mike

Big congrats to Kirk McEwen and Mike O’Meara the funny co-hosts of the Kirk &  Mike Show on 105.9 The Edge. I love being part of this show daily and can honestly say they always help put me in a good mood early in the morning even when I’m fighting it.

PHOTOS: K&M Anniversary Party

The dynamic duo had a little party to celebrate 1 year of being on air together in hometown Herndon at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern. I brought the whole clan out to celebrate. I think the highlight was the guys got to meet CHIN!  Congrats K&M.. here’s to many more years of cracking us up during DC’s most terrible morning drive.

Tattoos

What do you think of Miley Cyrus’ new tattoo on her finger? It’s of the = sign and supports gay rights.

I don’t have any ink but both my sisters do. I think I’d consider it if something really, really, really meant that much to me. Little Goff who is passionate about music has a treble clef on her wrist. Pretty cool. On another note, in hometown Herndon this weekend it appears getting ink was pretty popular… just ask 105.9 The Edge’s Kirk McEwen who put his artistic talents to good use at the Kirk & Mike Show Anniversary party (more of that nonsense to come!).

Happy Birthday Mike!

A very special happy birthday to one of my favorite people in the world.. Mike O’Meara! #youaintold

PHOTOS: Morning team crashes DC radio

BTW wanted to share this.. some video of our in studio visit to Mike and his co-host Kirk McEwen on their radio show Kirk & Mike on 105.9 The Edge.  I love being part of  their show every morning.. don’t forget to tune in when you’re in the car!

Kirk, Mike, Jack… we crash DC radio

What a morning! After we wrapped the show we decided to drop in on our favorite radio buds in town. First stop was at 105.9 The Edge where we squeezed into a sweltering studio for the hilarious Kirk & Mike Show. From calling out Howard Bernstien’s “pancake face” to teasing a mud wrestling match between Andrea and me when they return… the boys had us rolling. Tune in to 9NEWS’ Morning Show Friday for video evidence of our visit.

Why do we look like the rat pack?

Then it was off to the legendary Jack Diamond Show. He is just awesome. Our Kevin King got some great shots of the crew.
