Snowtober 2011

We were all sun rays last Saturday…. and snowflakes this time around!  I will say I feel a bit cheated. If it’s gonna snow… I want the good stuff… you know to make snow angels. But this was fun nonetheless. The baby really liked it. She kept looking at the falling flakes and going “Ohhhhhhh.”

It’s a long johns kinda day folks.

Go Hornets!

Facebook to launch new share buttons

Today top tech blogs are getting briefed by Facebook, two days before the socialnetwork’s big F8 developer conference.
TechCrunch is reporting that new share buttons are expected to be revealed.  If it’s true this means you’ll be able to do more than just LIKE something.
TechCrunch reports new buttons on the wall will include “read,” “listened,” and “watched.”

MORE: “Major” redesign of Facebook profile expected

New business buttons like “want” are rumored to be in the offing too.
As for that much demanded “dislike” button.. no word yet
If you could create a button what would it be? Do you think too many buttons will clutter a wall.

It’s important to note Facebook has not confirmed any of this. TechCrunch sites a Facebook insider.

Shore is nice

More than 500 people showed up for the opening reception of Chef Jeff Black’s Pearl Dive Oyster Palace. The group raised more than $25,000 which will go towards making a special teaching kitchen. The kitchen will be at the Washington Nationals Diabetes Care Complex at Children’s Medical Center. The new restaurant dishes out an average of 4,200 oysters a night! PS… did I mention they have a bocce court in the seafood house.  More photos by Andrew Lightman.

Fashion’s Night Out

Pounding Rain, 2 and half hours sitting in traffic.. nothing could keep me away from Fashion’s Night Out. I joined good girlfriends to toast FNO Georgetown at the VIP reception held at L2. From their we made our rounds to Dean & Deluca, Nectar Skin Bar, Intermix  and more. We enjoyed Citronelle’s fashion show and great wining and dining at Peacock Cafe’ after hours.  Check out more pictures from DC’s most fashionable night!

Oh and of course you know who had to partake in FNO! Check out her new boots.
