A ShamRockin’ Birthday

My St. Patrick’s Day got off to a great start. Around 5AM the wonderful morning show crew surprised me with cupcakes and a cake (that tasted like COSTCO cake- my favorite!). Between the flowers, facebook messages and tweets, phone calls and texts I feel very fortunate to have lived another year and to have had such incredible people in my life. Thank you! Be safe everyone and hope you strike the luck of the Irish today!

Brunch of Laughs

What a great way to wrap the weekend. The morning crew gathered for a nice brunch at Chadwick’s in NW after the show. It’s always great when there’s no deadlines and we can just relax, laugh and catch up.

Cool mommas hop the Rockin’ Railroad

Choo Choo! The train of fun was a chuggin’ at Kidville’s Rockin’ Railroad Family Day held in Bethesda. It was so wonderful to see other moms, dads and their kiddos of all ages come out. We got to run around in the playroom, enjoy cupcakes and watch and dance through a session of Kidville’s new Rockin’ Railroad class. I was clearly the head of the class… up front and center the whole time. Some photos by Danielle Sara Photography

News4 Brings On Bourbon Street

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler! Whatever that means… something French I’m sure and must be good. It was in the invitation to the much anticipated Employee Appreciation Day at News4!

What a way to kick of the morning with the team. The Mardi Gras themed party played up to it’s fun name. Our mini Bourbon Street drew a strong crowd and the food was fantastic.

Highlights included yummy made-to-order omelets and waffles, lotsa beads, caricatures artist and a massage chair!

Sundays can be fun days. Check out our breakfast potluck at NBC4 this morning. There’s nothing better to get you going early on a weekend morning then some egg sausage casserole and cinnamon rolls. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everybody!
