A while back I profiled Ingrid King, a local feline master teacher who did Reiki on my dear Atticus. I was so excited to see King’s new book because it’s something that as one reviewer described should be ‘A “must” for everyone who has ever loved a pet’. The story of her beautiful cat Buckley leads us through how our pets teach us to open our hearts to the world. It reveals lessons learned through the life and eventual death of a beloved friend.
This Thursday a good time will be had by all in a two places supporting our local pets. Fashion for Paws fundraising is in full swing and Washington’s hip and animal helping are hitting the town.
