Elsa Tree Topper

With Adora loving Elsa and Bob loving Olaf we decided on a Frozen Christmas tree this year. We started at the top. A doll, a snowflake ornament and a little Krazy glue and voila… Elsa crowns the tree. Took me 5 minutes!

Feeling Frozen in Fall

We went to see Disney on Ice’s Frozen and it was fantastic! I loved how it told the story of Elsa and Anna from start to finish. It was a nice surprise to see some of the other Disney Princesses off the top (Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Rapunzel) along with Mickey and Minnie. Adora LOVED that!

Like any ice show the toys and sno cones and photos are pricey but if you go there knowing that you won’t be too shocked. The key is getting there early or leaving a few minutes early when you know it’s gonna end. This is perfect time to get the face painting done– which is quick and beautiful. 2 hours is a long time for a kiddo so leaving at intermission isn’t a bad idea if they’re getting ancy. The ice-conic “Let it Go” rounds out the first half and that’s what most little girls and boys wanna hear and see anyways. Really enjoyed seeing the show with my sis and her kids too.

This “Frozen” move melts my heart

She couldn’t afford a trip to Disney World so this awesome mom brought the magic to her daughter. Amy Shipp not only surprised her daughter with an Elsa gown.. she got dressed up too. Together they declared Elsa Mom and Daughter day and ventured out to the mall, the Disney store and even a public park to share their magic. Everywhere they went they were adored. Thanks Amy for suiting up and showing us moms the power of love when you let it go.
