Women: Interactive event to boost business

WBIS Women Building and Investing in Success is a women’s networking group started in Virginia focusing on using innovative methods to promote, build and grow women’s businesses to succeed one step at a time. They utilize Web, Social and even Mobile marketing tactics to assist their members to connect easily with each other and outside business professionals to guarantee success in phases through their businesses.  Check out Friday’s Event:

“Toast to Success” raises the rooftop

It was a team effort atop a Washington hotel to help women thrive in work and life

Womens charity Dress for Success joined the ladies of Ann Taylor to raise money that will go towards giving women in need suits and professional attire to get jobs. More than $6,000 was raised at “Toast to Success.”

Held at the Beacon Hotel guests also got a sneak peak at looks from the designer’s Fall line.

Super nice gal pal and local sports reporting star Lindsay Czarniak is Bristol bound. We bid farewell  at a going away party held at Public Bar  in Tenleytown. Dale Earnhardt believes in second chances

Racing star Dale Earnhardt Jr. was among the stars who came out to support the National Guard and getting a second chance in life.

The popular driver attended the National Guard Youth Foundation’s 6th Annual Challenge of Champions Gala. The event celebrates the 100,000 graduates of the intervention program. The program that helps high school drop outs get back on track has a reported 90% success rate.

Other celebrities present included Grammy winning country starGretchen Wilson and American Idol winner Kris Allen. GovernorHaley Barbour was honored at the event.
