Men across the country are stripping down for a great cause.  Starting today September 1st, and continuing until September 30th, Men’s Wearhouse is accepting donations of gently used professional attire.

All donated clothing is given to nonprofit organizations and distributed to help men in crisis make a good impression during job interviews. In its third year, The National Suit Drive helps low income (or no income) men earn a second chance in our business world.

Renting Dresses & my Today Show ‘Bump’ Time

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

I recently tweeted that I found the fabulous ‘Rent-the-Runway’.  It seems like the perfect solution for someone who is constantly going to events. This cool website lets you borrow designer dresses at a fraction of what it would cost to own them. From Milly to Lilly to Oscar de la Renta and Valentino it seems their’s something for everyone’s level of fine taste. My twitter friend @crisclapp sent me these pics of a recent rental she wore to a wedding. Cris says  ” I can’t tell you how many compliments I got all night, I was definitely pleased with the RTR experience”.

Cris ordered one size since she knew how the designer fit on her but RTR gives you teh option to order a backup size for free. She rented it for $50… new it would’ve cost $350.

She is a ray of sunshine.. and said she didn’t want to return it!

Another favorite site of mine is GoTryItOn.com .. basically it’s a forum for you to get feedback on outfits your considering for work, play or a special event! I love it… and recently found out it landed me on Good Morning America and The Today Show.

Watch Today Show… fast forward to 2:21 in the video:
