DC Capitol Striders Raise Thousands for Haiti

The DC Capital Striders  took to the Capital Crescent Trail for a their annual 8K benefiting Haiti relief efforts.

Avid runner Rick Amernick got the group going. 280 runners including our production assistant Ava-Joye Burnett crossed the finish line and helped raise more than $3,000 to help Haiti.

Haiti: VA Team's Amazing Rescue

This is rare footage of the rescue of UN security guard in the rubble in Haiti by the Fairfax Urban Search and Rescue Team. Headed to the Dominican

Our hearts go out to the millions affected by the Haiti earthquake. I’m about to fly to the Dominican Republic and had tons of people contacting me to find out if we were already there. A Tsunami watch shortly followed the earthquake for the entire island of Hispanola. It’s ended.. and so far we should have no problem getting over there. I’ll have computer so will do my best to post from the DR. xxAngie
