It’s gonna be time for turkey before you know it so wanted to share some fun ideas that anyone can do in little time!
Stuffed Turkey Leg
Not sure what to do with all that Halloween candy. Save it and stuff it into a paper bag. Twist the end and add a little white construction paper at the end of the leg. Now you have an awesome dinner favor for the kids on Thanksgiving! They’ll love ripping it a part.
I found this kit at Paper Source. For the most part everything is already punched out. You just have to use to the template for a coupel things like the wings and the legs. The kids love gluing the pieces on. All you have to do now is go an create some Fowl Play! 🙂

Treats 4 Our Troops: Donate your candy

What to do with all that leftover Halloween candy? There’s a great place I tell you. Treats 4 Our Troops is back and on a mission to collect candy, cards and recycled magazines for troops abroad.

Last year the collected nearly 5,000 pounds of candy from San Diego to Boston!

The 2011 operation will run from November 1-7th. These gifts are sent to U.S. Military personnel who are currently deployed & Wounded Warriors.

You can serve those who serve by sorting and packing candy on Veterans Day this year. One packing event will be held at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Arlington, VA from 9:30am-12:30pm.

Can’t pack! You can drop the goodies off.  Candy collection points include:
