Ladies of Leesburg Gather for Japan

A group of Loudoun County women gathered for a “fun-with-a-purpose” girls night out. Organized by Ladies of Leesburg, women gathered for a no-RSVP, no presssure night with one objective. They brought their appetites to Travinia Italian Kitchen in the trendy Village of Leesburg. The restaurant donated 10% of the group’s sales to the Japan Earthquake relief. The women also enjoyed discounted shopping at the The Dandelion Patch, another new addition to the Village. Visit for more!


Marshmallow Harvest & Egg Hunt

ArtJamz: Inspiration ranges from personal to public

The great artist Pablo Picasso once said… “‘I paint objects as I think them, not as I seem them.'”

Unleashing all that’s inside is the idea behind a series of painting parties in the District. Professional and novice artists were invited to get creative at ArtJamz at the Lamont Bishop Gallery in DC’s Shaw corridor.

One artist says she painted her zodiac with her birthday coming up… another showed us her painting of Japan.

See Charlie Sheen LIVE in DC

Sheen continues with his ‘bi-winning’ attitude by hosting his very own, ‘ My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option ‘ Tour.

Tickets to this warlock’s one man show start at $48 and Sheen will be donating $1 from each ticket to the Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund.

Although Washington DC has an array of  prestigious and eclectic restaurants with a reputation for their quality of food, service and interior design, others simply fall short.

We get "Haughty"

It was an evening to empower women to feel beautiful last night as Haughty Cosmetics, a new luxury make-up line teamed up with Becky’s Fund,a non-profit organization focused on domestic violence awareness and education. The event took place in DC’s hot spot, Hudson Restaurant where Haughty Cosmetics were available for purchase. Some of the sponsors included  Crumbs Cupcakes who provided delectable treats, LUSH handmade cosmetics and The Sports Club/ LA.  Founders Michelle Coyle and Becky Lee looked fabulous as they hosted the evening. All proceeds of the night went directly to benefit Becky’s Fund.
