International Children’s Festival

This is the perfect event for the entire family! There’s even going to be a colorful childrens parade where kids from the different embassies will wear their traditional clothing. For sure to be an amazing sight! Children of all ages will have a chance to participate in educational booths from over 25 Embassies that will showcase rich cultural heritage including food, music and typical customs. Best of all, this event is free to the public.

Among the activities slated for this year are an array of performances including the Carpathia Folk Dance Ensemble, FC Pachama- Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, German School Washington- Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Happenstance Theater- Alliance Francaise, Karabakh Foundation Dancers, Kesem- Embassy of Isreal, Kirov Academy of Ballet, O’Neill- James School of Irish Dancing, Positive Vibrations Youth Steel Orchestra (PVYSO)- Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Rumah Gadang Group, and Umanda Weerasinghe.
