Sometimes our in studio guests are more than welcomed– they are so badly needed! Say hello to Tony Jackson who stopped by the morning show today to talk about things you can do to relieve stress. He had me inhale and say “Ahhhh” on the exhale. Something so small really does help. Special thanks to Dr. Martina Washington and Ayo Handy-Kendi for joining us too. Oh and if you’re wondering why we’re doing this, today is National Relaxation Day. Check out the video from the morning show below!

Adam Mansbach, author of the hilarious lullaby parody ‘Go the F*** to Sleep’ stopped by DC’s P.J. Clarke’s for a reading and signing. Adam had the audience laughing to tears as he shared his journey as a writer and parent.
Guests had the chance to ask questions, one of whom asked whether Mansbach preferred Samuel Jackson’s reading or Werner Herzog’s reading. Mansbach revealed that although both are fantastic and very funny, he likes Samuel Jackson’s reading slightly better.
After the reading and interview, Adam stuck around to sign books for his fans. More to come on the WUSA9 Morning Show this week. Yoni Lee contributed to this report.
