Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill hosted a backyard bbq at their house to commemorate the 2010 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The couple were once again the honorary chairs of the race… one of DC’s biggest events.

Breast Cancer survivor Cindy Pearson shares a fundraiser at Herndon Nail Salon and Spa. All day Saturday June 5th between noon and 6pm the spa is donating 100-percent of their services (manicures, pedicures, waxing, massages) to the Inova Breast Care Institute in Falls Church. LW raises money to pay for flights for families to visit their wounded heroes recovering from war. This Memorial Day we remember those we have lost and try to continue to help those who have survived by giving them everything they need to re-adjust with life back at home. Congratulations Luke’s Wings for doing your part to reach out.
