My Favorite Part:
What I love about this site.. victims around the world can easily submit stories to the website using their PCs or mobile phones – to share their moments of courage, strength and endurance before they successfully became survivors. They can do it with their real names or as an anonymous individual. I read one story yesterday that moved me and touched my heart completely.

I hope you will join me in supporting Becky’s Fund – let’s do all we can to End Domestic Violence together – SUBSCRIBE to the website to get invites for upcoming EVENTS, read their BF NEWS and follow Becky’s Fund on Facebook and Twitter.

Caps, Redskins “Walk this Way”

The 3rd annual “Walk this Way” delivered yet another powerful show. The night benefits Becky’s Fund a local charity that fights domestic violence in our community. Caps players like Nicholas Backstrom and Redskins like Gary Clark, Brian Orakpo and Tim Hightower took to the catwalk for the cause. My colleague John Schriffen also showed his style in the name of charity. It was great to catch up with other friends including MSNBC’s Richard Lui who came down from NYC for the show. 'Walk this Way' Again!

It was a groundbreaking fashion show with compelling models and a message and now it’s back for the second year in a row. Join Becky’s Fund and  ‘Walk this Way’  to take a stand against domestic violence. On Tuesday, September 28, Eric Finn Custom Clothiers and Becky’s Fund will hold the Second Annual ‘Walk this Way’ fashion show  to help raise money and awareness for the fight against domestic violence. You will not be disappointed with this production that exceeds expectation.

Held at DC’s Liason Capitol Hill Hotel, the special event will feature an over-the-pool runway fashion show, complimentary cocktails and hors d’oevres, performances, music and more! The night will also include a silent aution featuring items like VIP tickets to nationally broadcast televisions shows, jewelry from local artist Melissa Lew, paintings from Maggie O’Neill, and airline tickets from OpenSkies.

Proceeds from ‘Walk This Way’ will assist in the funding of the next 3 workshops for the Girl Scouts to be held in 2011, as well as with the development of a technology program to help victims of domestic violence seek help.
