Union Station hosted more emotion than it could handle when 46 mothers of children with cancer united. The 46 Mommas took it all of the top at the 2nd annual Shave for the Brave benefiting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Why 46? Because that’s how many kids are diagnosed each weekday with some form of cancer.

Arlington’s Danielle Leach who lost her son to brain cancer in 2007 help organize the event. Celebrity shavers Arch Campbell, Andrea Roane, John Kelly, Alison Starling, Natasha Barrett, Tommy McFly and Mary Amons came out to lend their helping hand too. Radio personalities Bob Madigan and Mike O’Meara did more than just clip the momma’s hair.. inspired by the night they shaved THEIR heads too.PR at Partners provided the stylists for the event. After they lost their locks the ladies got makeovers and bald and beautiful photos by Tim Coburn.
