All members of the family were recognized as a “fun” raiser was held for Our Military Kids – a nonprofit organization that provides grants to children with a parent currently deployed overseas in the National Guard or Reserves.

Supporters of Our Military Kids gathered at the Bullpen (adjacent to Nationals Stadium) for a raffle drawing with prizes including weekend travel packages, event tickets, and sports memorabilia. Guests also enjoyed live music, threw pitches, played cornhole, and munched on traditional ballpark food. All proceeds were donated to Our Military Kids.

Special guests at the event were Nancy Baker, wife of deployed Master Sergeant Lee Baker, and her children. “I’m very grateful of the time and effort,” she said. “I’m just so appreciative of  everything everyone has done for us.”
