This morning while we were live on-air fashion blogger Ryan Charchian of CashmereandTweed.com tweeted me the scene that wrapped around 10th and G Streets NW. It was like Missoni for Target in real-time. The hype surrounding Versace’s new collection for H&M created long lines in the cold this morning. Here’s what Ryan says about the experience:
Overall, the shopping experience was fantastic, but they did run out of product very fast. The mens was gone within 10 minutes. Women’s was a whole other story. They had a wristband system. I was in the orange range and by the time I was done in that section there was almost nothing left for the 6 other groups (90 people [15 per group]) behind ours.
Did you get anything good? Some of the dresses seemed very Miami to me.
